In
July 2006, The Axe and Compasses officially opened its garden bar, serving
chilled Stella Artois, Carlsberg and Guinness on tap. Including spirits,
bottled drinks and snacks. The outside bar has become a great hit with its
customers, offering the same service as the public bar with table service
and food orders, which can be made. The bar is usually opened on summer
days/ evenings and on the weekend period. (If the English weather holds!)
The garden over looks the Braughing cricket field. What a better way to
enjoy a game of cricket on a sunny afternoon. Alternatively, there is the
inside bar. Offering a wider selection of spirits, lagers, real ales and
wines. Serving Flowers IPA and two guest ales, which are frequently updated.
The taste is essential. That is why at the Axe and Compasses, our staff
clean the lines frequently to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. To top
it off we were awarded the Beautiful Beer award. |
