At the Axe and Compasses, we can host events for Birthday's, Wedding' receptions and anniversaries etc.Whatever the function, the Axe and Compasses can meet your needs. We are more than happy to lay on a buffet or if preferred you can pre-order dishes specified in our menu. The Axe and Compasses also boasts an outside bar offering the same service as the main bar with table service and food orders. The bar is usually open on summer days/ evenings and the weekend period (if the British weather holds!). The garden over looks the Braughing playing field. What a great way to spend the weekend watching the local cricket/ football team with a drink and snack by your side.
